16-bar melody

The form I used was through-composed form that means having a different melody and never repeats. The hardest part when I was doing this melody was having to figure out what notes I wanted and that makes it sound good. The thing I enjoyed most about this whole melody is when I finished and I heard my melody and it didn't sound that bad. The advice I would give to people for this project is to at least try you're best and see what you make at the end. Not everything has to be prefect.

Harmonize the First 8-Bar Melody

file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Nicholas/Desktop/My_First_Project.wav

Chord is a combination of three or more pitches sounded simultaneously. The main Harmony in the song. Chord progression is a series of musical chords, or chord changes that "aims for a definite goal" of establishing (or contradicting) a tonality founded on a key, root or tonic chord. You choose your chord progression by starting off with something you like and easy for you to do. I would do something R&B because I like smooth music so I would put low notes.
